Features of rutile single-crystals

Rutile single-crystals have a large refractive

index
and high birefringence and are therefore suitable for use in optical applications including polarizers and polarizing prisms. The rutile single-crystals also exhibit a high thermal and chemical stability. We produce and process high-quality rutile single-crystals with few crystal defects. We meet the demand for a range of rutile single-crystal applications including AR coating, special-specification products and large products.
